Hao Wei Lin, piano

My journey into music started when I was a kid. I just simply enjoyed the music and didn't set any specific goal in the very beginning. As the more I study and practice, I find myself enjoy sharing my music, being in the spotlight on the stage and the most important part is to bring happiness and joyfulness to the audiences. This has become my ultimate goal in studying music.

In my perspective, every movement or opus is a story. I'm good at expressing and interpreting it in the way as if I'm telling a story. Most of the time, it is warm and cozy because I was raised in a family full of love and happiness. I was invited to play piano in David Simpson Hospice in United States for 60 minutes. I ended up playing 90 minutes because patients there were touched by my music and wished me to stay longer. They told me that my music magically alleviated their pain and discomfort. They seemed to forget their illness while entranced with the music. I expect myself to keep sharing love, hopes and my enthusiasm to life via the power of music.
